Evalart users can add random questions by following the steps described below:
1. In the test builder, after adding all the desired questions, select the "Tools" tab and click on the "Add Random" button.
2. After clicking on the "Add Random" button, two new elements in red will appear. These elements mark the beginning and end of the question group from which the system will randomly select questions. You need to drag and drop these elements into the " Questions Selected" field, just like adding a question to the test, in order to add the randomness tool to the test. Note: It is important to place the elements at the beginning and end of the question selection where you want to add randomness.
3. After adding the elements to the question selection, specify the number of random questions you want to be displayed in the test in the field that is initially set to 0 in the start element. For example, if you have a selection of 10 questions and you want the system to randomly choose only 5 of those questions, you would enter 5 out of 10.
4. Finally, save the changes using the "Save" button.
NOTE: These steps apply to both new and existing tests. However, if you want to add randomness to an existing test from the catalog (which was not created by you), you need to clone it before following the steps described.
