Evalart allows you to manually edit the score of any test answered by a candidate. This is useful if it is determined that the candidate should receive a different score than the one assigned by the system.
This can happen, for example, in programming tests if the candidate wrote a program that is generally correct but does not output the expected result exactly as requested in the question. In such cases, the system may assign a score of zero, but the evaluator may want to give a partial score. This option is also used for manually graded questions.
To manually edit an answered test, simply click on the pencil icon in any results listing (such as the answered tests report). This will open a view of the test for editing.
To change a score, select the question and then click on the pencil icon in the field labeled "Manual Score". It is also possible to edit the result description and even modify a candidate's written response if desired (for example, if it is believed that they made a minor error and it is necessary to correct their response directly). In these cases, the candidate's original response is preserved and can be restored if necessary.
