How to cancel a test and retrieve the balance of the plan or package.

How to cancel a test and retrieve the balance of the plan or package.

In some cases, it may be desired to cancel a test sent to a candidate, either because it is assumed that they will no longer respond or because the test was sent in error or is no longer necessary for them to respond. Any test that has not been answered by the candidate, meaning it is in the "Created" state, can be canceled. When canceling a test, the consumed test is returned to the plan or balance (except for cases where the test corresponds to a monthly recurring plan and was applied in a previous period).

To cancel a test, go to the Reports menu => View Sent Tests and search for the test you want to delete. Then click on the X icon to cancel it (This action cannot be undone). If applicable, once the test is canceled, that test is recovered for the plan or balance.

The candidate who received the link will no longer be able to respond to the test if it has been canceled. However, it is possible to reset a canceled test if it is desired for the candidate to be able to respond to it again (In which case the charge will be reapplied to the balance or plan, as the charge was reversed when the test was canceled previously).
